We'll my boy is on EVO dry food, he was on the red meat but I just switched him to chicken. I was told you did need to mix the old food with the new for at least a week. When I switched my boy to EVO he actually picked out the EVO food and left the old. And he was fine.
I can't give my boy the mushy wet food because it gives him diahrea. And evo doesn't seem to make Chunky Wet food, so I feed my boy the dry EVO and Merrick in canned food.
I mix his dry food in the morning with the wet chunky food and in the evening he just gets dry. He has done really well on EVO and his hair is so shiny. I just love it!
