I rescued molly when she was 2years old and she settled in really quickly. I had my vet give her a check up and had her spayed as soon as i could. I tried to get her to sleep downstairs, but that lasted 2 nights, then she was on my bed, where she has slept at night for the last 18 months!
I would always recommend adopting an older doggie.
