When you see gold hairs mixed in where it should be all steel blue it is referred to as 'running gold' and it is considered a fault. With puppies as they are getting their adult coat sometime you will see a reddish tint on the tips of the steel blue of the coat and that is usually just caused by hormones and will eventually go away. |
