i am so incredibly heartbroken. I bought a little AKC female yorkie from a good breeder in my area. we had a big snowstorm a few days ago and the lady said her power went out. they were snowed in and had no way to contact anyone. she said that it got too cold and that my puppy as well as a brand-new one died because they were too cold. my puppy was only almost 1lb. at 10 weeks. i don't know how this happened. i don't live very far from her and our power went out too,but there was not even the slightest chance of anyone freezing to death.
she has offered me a little AKC yorkie in exchange,but she said she is mahogany colored puppy. have you ever heard of that color from purebred AKC yorkies? i haven't...
