For my records, I used a small amount of permanent marker on the belly in different colors. You'd be surprised at how many different colored Sharpies there are. Another thought is to use pink for the girls and blue for the boys. Here are some ideas of different simple shapes to use - heart, star, circle, rectangle triangle.
When people came to look at the pups I put different colored silk collars on them with quick release buckles. The collars came off the second the people left - I am paranoid about leaving anything around the neck. It seems like they "look" for ways to get tangled up. |
