Once a dog gets coccidia it is hard to get rid of. It can be treated and then go dormant but if any stress occurs in the dogs life they can have another outbreak. When the coccidia is dormant it is very hard to detect in a stool sample. Your puppy should be just fine after taking all her medicine. |
