Ahhhh....

It does take awhile...sorry to say

Here are some tips. Young pups should NEVER have free run of the house/appt. You must keep his areas small and contained. Get some baby gates and xpen - The xpen is great b/c you can either keep it closed in a circle or you can have it open to "block" off areas.

During training and puppy months, you have to keep a close eye on him, keep to the SAME routine and schedule and having HUGE positive praise party's for good potty behavior - followed up by a Yummy Treat!

Mine are 4 yrs old and they still get a small treat for good potty - they actually come to 'alert' me when poop is on the pad - they want their treat...

The treat I use is: Peanut Butter Chip from the baking isle. They are small enough yet so effective. This is used ONLY for good potty behavior
