Wow, this is why I love YorkieTalk. I was just searching because my 3 pound baby Willow is having her first cleaning March 11th, along with her older brother, and I am terrified. I am planning on having the pre-op blood work done for her and Biscuit (he's a 10 pounder), and she did fine when we got her spayed only weighing in a little over one pound...but this is a different vet and you just never know.
She is very difficult to groom and such, due to her size and wiggle factor
, but we do plan on adding teeth cleaning for her every day after this cleaning because I just do not want to put her under anesthesia any more than absolutely necessary.
Any suggestions on special bloodwork requests I may need to make? Ellie May, what is your dental routine?
Sorry ggzaro, I don't mean to highjack this thread, I am just worried sick about this....she's just so tiny!
