First I want to say I love my little Gumdrop. She is the love of my life. My friend had a Yorkie and my Mom fell in love with it so I am now a proud owner....but...I hope that she will grow out of the touch me not stage. She loves to run and jump and jump some more and has the energy of a Great Dane. Will wiggle out of a hug to run and run..get the picture? I have trained her to sit on command but seems too unfouced to do anything else. Now I know she is a puppy and I can not expect much at this time but between biting and refusing to sit on my lap that takes up most of her day. I am told she will grow out of this but I get doubtful days. She is close to three months now. I take her out to see other people and dogs so she is socilized and I have read every Yorkie book there is...how can I turn my little runner into a lover?
