The problem with Nutrical is that it will spike his sugar, then he will crash again if he doesn't get a meal. Pedialyte will replenish lost electrolytes, but won't bring his blood sugar up.

Food is what he really needs to stabilize his blood sugar. You need to feed him every couple of hours even if you have to force feed him.
