At the suggestion of someone else here on YT (I can't remember who anymore), we have started using peanut butter baking chips. We split them into thirds so they're really really tiny (just a taste), but Nikko loves them so much I think he'd learn to sing an opera for them if we asked! His potty training has been getting quite a bit better since we introduced them...
The trick, I think, is to use something that is extra special just for potty treats - never use that treat any other time. Little bits of plain boiled chicken would work really well too probably, but our fridge is too far away from our going-outside door, lol. Just make sure you potty treat is the end all be all of super delicious treats.
