I am glad your puppies are doing well so far. Just keep in mind that some genetic defects, like liver shunt, do not show up until later. I do hope your puppies do well.

I always keep my babies in a big whelping box with the heating pad only on one side. Since your puppies are two weeks old they should be able to regulate their own body temperature so you might want to give them a bigger area where they can get off the heating pad if needed. Since we live in a house on blocks our floors are really cold in the winter so I leave the heating pad with the pups longer in the winter but they can get off of it if they want to. I have the whelping box setup in a big x-pen so the mom can get out of the whelping box but she cannot get out of the x-pen. Once the puppies are too big for the whelping box I remove it and I put a board up, dividing the x-pen so mom can still get away from the puppies when she needs to. I do let the momma out a lot during the day so she can spend time with me and our other yorkies.
