You can also back date (System restore ) your computer to a day you know they were in the history. BUT you must check your virus scan to make sure the day you choose was a clear virus free day on your computer ( check your scan records) AND any thing put into or downloaded after that date may not work properly.

Or you can check your index.dat files but you will need a index.dat reader ( some are free to download..BUT make to virus scan them first)

Limit your search to C drive
Click advanced
search files
search files/folders
search sub folders
click print
to minimize results look for NON TEXT files

*that's when you need your index.dat reader tool to read these files

The easiest is to restore a date , BUT you will lose info you have added after. If it was only a day or so ago and your computer was virus free at that time, It wont hurt.

Firefox is sometimes harder to bring index files up , so I would probably restore date.
how do i do system restore? i read about that on google but idk how to do that? it was confusing...i wanted to try that to see if it works
