i think the smaller they are & the smaller bladder they have.. the more they will have to go.
(ex. our little one, Gemma, goes a bunch throughout the day.. but little amounts.. her bladder is tiny! - Avie will go only a couple times.. but she goes larger amounts and she holds it longer inbetween! )
as long as your baby does not seem to be straining when going.. as long as there is no blood & no crystals in the urine... i don't think there should be anything to worry about! especially if they are drinking a ton of water..
now, if you think they are drinking too much water.. that could be something else:
