I started to divide his 1/4 cup over three meals and he would lick his bowl clean and look around for more food. He now waits by the cupboard where all his food and treats are kept. I asked my vet and she showed me the back of the bag I was feeding him and it recommended 1/4 cup each feeding. This is all so confusing so I am going with the vets advice. We are also walking about 30 minutes a day on top of the running around he does on his own. Good luck fallingstar this new parenting business can be worrisome.
