Oh Geez, I feel for you. It is a tought decision.
Adie was spayed when she was 7 months old. I just read her medical records and the vet had written that she was either just going into or coming out of heat. That would have been her first. I certaily didn't know about it. I think Missy would be OK since she has already been through a surgery and you know she can tolerate it. I, like almost everyone else, think you should wait until she is well-healed and you feel the time is right. Bless her little heart. I hope she is doing OK.
