Talking Welcome to the Club

Zeke is next to impossible to clip his nails at home and to get groomed (he's failed 3 groomers so far). Being a rescue at 1 yr (now 2 this Jan) we do not know much about Zeke except that he was with 17 other fosters/owners own dogs. Combing and brushing has gotten easier, actually, easier than Zack who is a joy to bathe and clip nails, the past couple of months but the feet/nails are still difficult to say the least. A lot of handling/touching Zeke's feet while playing and the combing/brushing. The time we took Zeke to a groomer and vet who were co-located, they tried sedating him, no luck, and I was out $175 from the rip off vet visit. I was charged for the vet to look at him, sedate him, then the bathe and groom. Zacks' bath was only $35. It will be slow and long but there are plenty of suggestions that I will also try.
