Yeah, that's definitely something to consider. To give you an estimate.. we spend around $40 a month on food, $20 a month on heartworm medication, and $30-40 on Frontline. Annual vet visits cost us $150 each and that doesn't account for the occasional infection or accident. Also there's bedding, toys, shampoo/conditioner, clothing...etc. When I add it all up a I get a little nauseous. Think of all the clothes and shoes I could buy!
