So, I haven't really been around lately, because school started again and I've been busy with classes and, of course, Baxter! I just wanted to update everybody on his progress, because I know y'all will appreciate it as much as I do.
He turned four months old on Valentine's. He is going to get his rabies shot this coming Saturday, for free!, at my roommate's dads clinic.

Um, his potty training is good, but still coming along. I recently took away the pee pads completely. He would pee on his pee pads, but not poop on them, and I think he was getting confused.

So now, I just take him outside. This morning, he actually woke me up by barking and I took him out where he proceeded to pee and poop. I've been bringing treats outside with me and petting him and loving him after every time he pees or poops outside. He's slowly getting the hang of it.
I have been able to teach him to sit, lay, and stay. I think stay is probably the most important command to teach and he knows it really well. Oh! And guys! I took him to the dog park the other day with my roommate's dog and it was the cutest/funniest/sweetest thing ever! They have a separate fence for small dogs, but of course, no dogs were out there playing. So I took Baxter into the big dog's area. I thought he would be brave, because he always barks at bigger dogs around my apartment complex, but he was actually scared! He would explore a little bit around me, but as soon as a big dog came by, he would run back to me and jump at my legs, or sit at my feet, or hide behind me. I remember reading someone else's post about a guy that said a rude comment about how small their dog was, well, that sort-of happened to me too. One of the guys who had a boxer said something like 'Hah, you can't even tell that's a dog!'. But he was joking, and being nice, but still, you can
obviously tell he's a dog.
But anyways, here are some more recent pics of Bax.
