Hi Shauna, I couldn't find the thread about Missy's surgery...I'm glad she's recovering! Mimi didn't have her 1st heat til 2 months after she turned 1 yr old (she's 5.5 lbs.) Maybe you should wait til she's a little older, before she turns 1 to have her spayed (maybe 8-9months?). Then you can also have any baby teeth removed that she's retained @ the same time.
