I only noticed the rear dews about 3 days after I brought Bonnie home. I was getting ready to take her to the vet for a check up, when I felt her back legs. Boy, was I shocked. I let the vet do the complete exam without ever mentioning it to her. When I asked the vet, she had to take a second look. She says they are very tight to the leg, so they probably won't be a problem. I can have them removed when I take her for her spay. The breeder told me that she'd never encountered them before, but would check in the future.
My groomer is aware of them so she will always clip them. I guess it's not a problem, but what a shocker
