In 20 years of breeding I have never used anything around puppies necks but I know many do. I do know of 2 instances where puppies have been choked to death and this is the reason I never used anything. The largest litters I ever had was 5 and I was always able to tell mine apart. I also never had more than one litter at a time so I guess that helped as well |
