As far as the food - what the breeder is talking abut is free feeding them - lots of people do that. I've done it in the past. But with the 2 I have now - they eat as soon as I put it down - so I measure it out each day.
You may want to get an x-pen or a baby gate to keep her confined in one area right now so you don't have so many accidents on the carpet. Yorkies are hard to housebreak - so if she is getting close to the pad that is a good thing. You need to give her lots & lots of praise when she does it right.
I believe they learn fastest with positive reinforcement. |
