Yes, it is a horrible practice to support...and that is exactly what you have done.
Yes, one puppy gets a chance, and then the millers have reason to continue on with their business and replace it with another ill bred, poorly cared for litter. There is no way to justify supporting that kind of business.
These types of scenarios are very sad...for one because it supports puppy millers, and secondly because people knowingly do it and don't even care.
