Thanks for the continued support, everybody. We're doing pretty darn well, all things considered. Rusty and Eddie got a little more clingy to me and Kelly, but I think they realize their lives haven't changed. It's funny, they seem to look forward to our walks more than ever. In the winter, Eddie often used to try to pass on our walks. He hates having to put on all the booties and coats. But since Jack has been gone, he's stopped hiding from me when it's bootie time. He really wants to go.

And once we get out there, he doesn't pull to go home after the short loop. He wants to do the full lap around the park. Rusty has stopped shadowing my every move, so I think he's settling in too.
