His gums were a little pale but, not really. He wasn't real energetic when we got him but, we thought he was just scared. He was in the cage all by himself when we bought him. The lady at the pet store said that if he didn't eat right away to try putting cottage cheese in with his puppy food but, that didn't work and that is why we started this post.
