Yeah, I used a panty liner - no holding lots of pee in that.

How often will a healthy dog need to pee (not mark), as I would like to take the band off and either walk him or put him on the pad. Seems like a silly question, however, Oscar wasn't healthy for a long time and he peed almost every hour. Oscar never did mark anywhere, except when he went in the wrong spot (maybe every 4-6 weeks) it was a full on pee. When Carson marks or pees in the wrong spot should I say anything, or just a loud deep NO.

Oh yeah this little guy hasn't made a peep, we don't even know what his bark is like. Hey, not that I am complaining.

Going to start some simple training tonight (sit, stay, come).

He is a doll, right now he is sitting on my lap with his two front paws on the edge of th desk - like he is watching me type.

No kisses yet, but lots of nose to nose.

On more question, his breath is bad (really bad) - breeder had a couple teeth pulled yesterday, would this cause bad breath? As I don't think a one year old on dog food should have bad breath. Oscar's breath was awesome, but I brushed his teeth 2-3 times a week - he also didn't get any people food (except his home-made diet). Going to start Carson on teeth brushing, just need to get a new toothbrush (don't want to use Oscars - that is going into his special box).

Thanks all for the advise. Geez, you'd think I never had a dog before - but it sure is funny starting from scratch when you had your last baby trained so well.
