Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this! My mother lost her fight to Melanoma 18 years ago. She was a tanning bed user and was out sunbathing whenever she could. Losing my mother at the age of 13 to a preventable disease and being a fair-skinned redhead has taught me to be careful with my skin. I wear a face cream with sunscreen every day. I also apply sunscreen whenever I know I will be exposed to the sun.
I am very proud of my pasty complexion and take great comfort in knowing that I will age better than those who tan!
