I've been using this for about a year and I've only gone through 1/2 a bottle in that time. I use it after bathing, before blow drying - less than a dime-sized amount on my hands rubbed through the coat. I also occasionally use in-between baths to keep the static down, a much smaller amount rubbed into the coat. It has done wonders on Sissy's dry cottony back half!!!
