Wow! Puddin' had her first bath on Thursday and it was surprisingly uneventful...in fact, I totally expected what Alex did and it didn't happen.
My experience with other dogs, though, is that it helps if two people are involved...one to hold and reassure the puppy, the other to hold the hair dryer. Maybe you can get someone to assist until he is no longer freaked by it?
