I was playing with Lucas yesterday and when I was feeling his legs I realized that right near the skin his hair is all matted!! I feel awful for not noticing sooner, because I brush him every day and don't know how I missed that!

I managed to work out the tangles on his back legs with my fingers while he was sleepy, but I'm finding the front legs much harder. What would be the most effective way of getting these tangles out without having to cut his hair??? Wet hair? dry hair?
