It sounds like he is so sweet. Its amazing how forgiving and resiliant these little thrown away babies can be. Im sure he is so grateful to be given a second chance.

The hiding the food in other things doesnt ever work for my dogs they always catch on and eat around the pill or refuse the food. I always crush the pill into powder and mix it in with moist food. If that doesnt work I would try luvfla's idea.....just tell him what its for
