Yes, however, it only guarantees that your breeding males and females are clear of genetic defects and/or infections. These tests don't guarantee that your dogs aren't carriers. There is no DNA marker to date that can identify your dogs clear from Shunt. Being a reputable breeder is defined by how they handle a situation should a life threatening issue arise with your pup.
