I love, love, love, this dog more than any other dog I have ever owned, (yes I think the others know I play favorites) but they have so much character, it is very hard to remember they are dogs and not children. WHICH I gather is a trait among all yorkie owners.

I've had dogs all my life ... big ones, medium ones, pure-bred and mutts. I can't imagine my life without a dog. But I'm getting older ( ) and I wanted something smaller this time. Yorkies have always intrigued me, so I got one. Then I found out they're like potato chips: you can't just have ONE. So I got the second, a little girl. And it's all I can do to restrain myself from getting another - but I can't really do that.

I love Yorkies. If I had started out with Yorkies, I doubt I would ever have had the others. They are spectacular little pets, and I can't imagine not having one til the end of my days.
