I would love to take credit for this idea....but I read it on some other post....my yorkie and chihuahua also HATE brushing teeth...until I read this idea..
I put some doggie flavor toothpaste on their brushes....stick them (the toothbrushes..not the dogs) in the freezer......then, later that night ( or in the am) ..when I have a few minutes I just hold the brushes and they just chew and chew and chew. I turn the brush up and down and sideways and both sides....Not had a problem since.
I realize this is not "really brushing" but it gets the job done for now! |
