I would have to suggest trying a different vet or the university.(if it is close and fairly convient (sp?)...). I do know they can go a while without eating so long as they are drinking something....try putting some sugar in the water....but if she is throwing that up it may not help.
Sometimes a different doctor can look at something in a different way....your vet may be really great but I would have to try something else...
Hope she gets better real soon!!!
Please come back and tell us how she does...!

P.S. Did he do any kind of blood work....or check stool sample????
Maybe a urine test for some infection or a stone...
