I'm not sure there is a certain 'age'. Each puppy is different. I was hoping to wait until Murphy was at least one year old to have this done, in case they fell out on their own. But they were starting to affect his big boy teeth and one was a little crooked. Besides, Murphy has so many baby teeth left I don't think they all ever would've come out without help. I wouldn't wait too much past one year, though. The retained teeth can really increase plaque and tooth decay.
