The preference does seem to be for smaller Yorkies and yours will probably be on the high end of the standard if they are three pounds at 13 weeks.

And the point that many are ultra selective about aquiring a quality representation of the breed, to me, is a very POSTIVE thing.
Not to mention that due to the popularity of the breed, there is an abunance of Yorkies for sale these days.
This is where having interested parties and a waiting list BEFORE breeding comes in handy.
