) but anyway - she is always making this stuff called "Monkey Munch" and it sounds sooo good! She says that it is to die for
And - it is so easy to make. She makes a whole big container of it at a time and it is GREAT to snack around on. I'm sure they would enjoy a container of it to sit up at the vets office and "MUNCH" around on (get it?? MONKEY MUNCH - lol)
Cute too, cause it's called *MONKEY* Munch, and it would be going to a VETS office, lol. It could be given as a little "something extra" - and it's sweet...so it would be great as a little dessert too
Here are the ingredients and directions, just incase you wanna give it a go
Ingredients:
9 cups Chex cereal, any variety
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Directions:
Put cereal in large bowl.
Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour over Chex cereal, put into a large plastic bag with powdered sugar and shake well to coat.
Spread mixture evenly on wax paper or in cupcake liners and allow to cool. Store at room temperature. Keeps 2-3 days.
