I took Chloe to the vet today because I noticed that her abdomen was distended. They did an ultrasound and said it is filled with fluid. They are going to drain it tomorrow. They are consulting a specialist in LA and she is going to have another ultrasound by a tech next week. They do ultrasounds, but they have a specialist who comes in once a week to do more accurate and detailed scans.They are trying to determine if her liver is still enlarged and inflamed, or if it is shrinking and shutting down. They said her ALT is dropping, but it could mean her liver is shutting down. She seems to be doing so good. It is just up and down. Good news followed by bad.
