i actually was looking at the norfolk and norwich way before i had my yorkie kids...i had contacted a couple of show breeders and learned about the breed...i was trying to decide whether or not they would fit in my lifestyle and then i found yorkies
although i think they are adorable, the yorkie was for me
the double coat and handstripping required seemed like a lot of work...and my fiance is allergic to most dogs and we thought it would aggravate his allergies (would hate to adopt a baby only to learn he cannot be around them)...he does fine with our yorkies and no major allergies
