If the police haven't been notified, they really should be. Chances are that she isn't the first victim and won't be the last. With situations like this it is very common to have almost no memory of the events, so please don't let that stop her from reporting it. You have no idea what investigations may be going on in the background. What she knows could provide the missing piece of the puzzle for police.

Please encourage her to find a counselor as well. I really wish I could give you both a hug right now. I am so sorry.
