Although I also had an offer for Thursday transport, I unfortunately was not able to make the final leg of the journey to my house. They sure are wonderful rescues volunteers of all breeds in the Indiana area. Southern Comfort Maltese Rescue was also very responsive and concerned about this little guy and posted on their board as well. I am still getting email of concern for his well being from several of these dedicated rescue volunteers. It is wonderful to see that we can work together to solve the horrors of so many pups~because that is what this is all about, saving the one's most in need and working together cooperatively (I thought). It is also heartwarming to see how everyone was willing to help regardless of how sick this little guy is. YTNR even offered to board him overnight to help get him to his final destination in Chicago! How wonderful!
