We are currently away from home to breed with a stud. My girl is on day 9 today. Yesterday I took her to the stud for the first time. The stud's owner said she didn't think my girl was ready because her discharge is still very red (dripping even). She is flagging, standing, all that, but she had a point. So I took her to a vet and had the progesterone test done and it came back 6.0. My research tells me this is prime time (5 - 15) and she is actually ready. I don't want to waste her breedings and everyone's time, so I would love to know what you all think. Thanks so much for your advice.
