Just thought I'd update, even though I'm a few days late.
I took it stool samples from Mahina and my two cats. Guess what they all came back NEGATIVE.
I was thinking NO WAY.
I told the woman at the front desk, no way is it negative I saw actual worms in her stool. (Even though it was only twice) And my cat is giving off these sesame seed type things.
They had me speak to the vet.
Guess what, stool samples can come back negative even if they have it. What they're looking for in the stool is the eggs, which don't always show up.
So, if you have a dog that you believe has worms, you've seen them and your test comes back negative, ask to speak to the vet, or be persistent.
In the end, she said that what I described to her was tapeworms, especially since I saw them, and they gave me some medicine.
