 Going camping!
Don and I and the dogs are headed out in our camper in the morning for Rhode Island. We'll be camping with my oldest son and his family. Since we now have the Casita, we are taking him our big tent to use. Should be a fun visit and I know that the dogs will enjoy it.
Pogo had an appointment for a nice summer cool haircut at the groomer at 1 pm today, and he and Don went driving off in the car while I held Higgins. This is the first time that Daddy and Pogo have left Higgins behind and he was absolutely WILD with unhappiness! Crying and running from door to door. After about a half hour of this he settled in for a sulk and then a nap. Don came home without Pogo, but he brought a new toy for Higgins, so all was well. Then we loaded Higgins into the car and finally went to pick up Pogo at the groomer......WHAT A SCENE! They were BOTH so happy to see each other they were beside themselves with joy! Everyone got such a kick out of them!
We'll be back next weekend sometime. So keep the ol' forum lively until I get back -- I'll miss you all!!!!!
