Poor girl. I think your decision to go today and "get worked in" is a good one. I know that's what I'd be doing. Just be sure to take a blanket to keep her comfy in, some snacks, a bottle of water and bowl for her to drink from. Follow your gut instinct and stand up for your baby, you are her advocate and you know when something isn't "right" with her. Don't let them rush you in and out, ask questions about any treatment plan so that you completely understand why they are doing it. I can be known to be a pest but I am all that my babies have to watch out for their best interests.
