There is nothing wrong with you wanting to keep the tiniest one of your litter. Whether you are an long term experienced breeder or not, if you love your babies, you should care where they go and if the potential owners have not had experience with tiny yorkies or yorkies period, you should be cautious of just selling him to them whether they are in high demand or not.

I think you are doing fine. Yes- unfortunately with the economy and everything, it may be longer and more difficult to sell them right now but I still would not rush in doing so....or lower the price TOO much.

And as you already stated, you may have them around longer but that is one of the things that comes with breeding
