I had a partial hysterectomy last May but still had trouble so they completed it last Thursday. Lucky me...had to have full abdominal surgery soooo...going in tomorrow to have my staples removed and I should be as good as new in a few weeks.
My husband is the perfect nurse when I'm sick...he waits on me hand and foot, dries my hair, cooks, cleans and does the laundry...takes care of all the babies and makes sure I take my meds. He takes me out for a ride every afternoon and we stop somewhere so I can walk a little bit. I stayed the night at a very nice hotel with my Mom the night before surgery...we went out for dinner and shopping all night. We planned that so my husband could stay home a little longer to take care of everyone so they wouldn't have to be in their kennels so long...well...he couldn't sleep and ended up beating us to the hospital...he was sitting in the lobby reading the paper when we got there! The hospital is 50 miles from our house and I was in there for 4 days...he drove up every morning and spent the day with me...we shared our afternoon coffee and then went home to take care of things but he called me every night before bed.
I have a wonderful husband...and no complaints even after 28 years. |
Well I guess you do have a wonderful husband. He obviously love you alot or he wouldn't do all those lovely things for you. I'm very happy for you. Treat him well - I'm sure you do.
