I love that a 10 year old won (if it couldn't be a yorkie) I saw him on the news this morning - so laid back, he looked like he could go to sleep. The handler said that at several times the Sussex Spaniel was almost extinct. They also said that if all kinds of people wanted this breed now there would not be enough puppies available.
The sad thing was they were also showing a puppy up for adoption either today or yesterday morning - guess what it was?? Yep, a beagle - can you imagine how many beagles are in rescues now after the Beagle took best of show last year.
